Biographies of Speakers

Below, a brief biography of the speakers can be found:

Martin Beisel is a research associate at the Institute of Architecture of Application Systems (IAAS) at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. He received his master’s degree at the University of Stuttgart in Software Engineering in 2020. His research interests are in the field of quantum software engineering.

Felix Gemeinhardt joined the Christian Doppler Laboratory on Model-Integrated Smart Production (CDL-MINT) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU Linz) in 2020. He holds master’s degrees in Physics and Business Management. His research interests are in applying Model-Driven Engineering and Automated Software Engineering techniques to Quantum Computing.

Marie Salm started working at the IAAS as a research associate and Ph.D. student in December 2019. She has a master’s degree in Computer Science and works on the project PlanQK, a platform for quantum applications. Her research topic is the recommendation of quantum computers for quantum programs.

Benjamin Weder works as a research associate at the IAAS. He received his master’s degree from the University of Stuttgart in Computer Science in 2018. He is the technical lead of the EniQmA project at the IAAS, developing techniques for holistic quantum software engineering and a corresponding toolchain.
